Bombarda Culverin, Our Award Winning Lost Barrel Blend, is a 5-8 year dark rum of three ports of origin - Barbados, The Dominican Republic, and Panama. Culverin is tropically aged exquisitely in bourbon & white oak casks, delivering a flavorful & cunning blow.
Bombarda produces authentic Rum the way it should be! We never add sugars, caramel, or colorings. We fiercely resist using Solera or chill filtration products in our blends.
Our masterfully crafted blends show the real age classification. The five on our label means the blend's youngest Rum has been on a Bourbon and oak cask for five years. And the oldest in the mix is a mouthwatering eight years old product.
TASTING NOTES:
Golden straw color. Aromas of caramel gelato and sandalwood with a lean, bright, dryish light body and a peppery, brisk baking spices and cracked pepper finish. An easy-going Rum that will be very versatile in the home bar.
